Love is in the Air!
What are you doing on February 11th? Well, if you're free, you should come out to CA's afterevent! Who knows, you may even find yourself a date for Valentine's day there. ;]
To help out CA, you can be a part of our annual Valentine's Day auction! You can sign up at the CA booth that will be set up Tuesday to Thursday of this week.
Also! We will be selling Crush grams at the CA booth! If you were sent a Crush Gram, you must attend this Thursdays meeting to receive it!
Oh yeah! Since this Thursdays meeting is for Valentine's day, you should dress to impress with the board members! Wouldn't it be nice for everyone to be dressed up together at an event like this? Look your best, cause you never know if that special girl or guy will notice you at meeting!
Clubbing Last Week
CA Board would like to apologize to everyone who did not have a good time or was not able to enter the club last week. There was a major misunderstanding and the club was overbooked. We are working hard to help straighten things out. So if you have your presale tickets, please hold onto them and give them to Michael Wong at this Thursday's meeting. We will collect your contact information along with the ticket and contact you when we can.
CA Interns!
Interested in running for board next year? Curious as to how board is run, and how we're able to put on all these AMAZING events for you guys? Well, apply to become a CA intern! CA Interns are regular members like you who want to give back to the club and experience the challenges and wonders of CA Board! As an intern, you're pretty much board members! Culture Night Props!
Props is one of the important aspects of culture night. Yeah sure dancers look graceful and actors are playing a character, but you do know that behind all of that… comes props! So if you love creating things, drawing, all that great stuff… then come out to props! Prop meetings are held on Sundays from 12-2pm at Cornell so come out and make some… creativity! Culture Night Skit!
Skit ensemble is now open once again! Come be a part of this fantastic production! We need extras who are interested in playing small roles for skit, so if you're even slightly curious, contact Roy at ca.culturenight@gmail.com!
Night Market
Our next Night Market meeting will be on Monday, February 8th! Be sure to come out to work with your committee and receive any important updates!
If you decide to help us out on the day of, you will be given a free Night Market shirt! So be sure to attend and help out if you can!
Culture Night is recruiting!
We are currently looking for people interested in participating in our Culture Night! If you want to be a part of this year's epic All Guys' dance, or play a role in this year's skit, just shoot our Cultural Chairs, Roy and Jennie, an email using the contact form under the Contact Us tab!
High School Outreach! (HSO)
Our annual High School Outreach event is coming up soon, March 5th to be exact! We will be holding our weekly meetings on Fridays between 5pm and 6pm at the Cross Cultural Center's Dr. White Room! Don't know what High School Outreach is? Check out our annual events tab for more information. Or you could come to the meeting to find out!

Battle of the Clubs
We're still doing Battle of the Clubs this quarter at the Lollicup in Diamond Jamboree! Be sure to tell them you're from CA when you buy a drink so they can put a sticker on the wall for us!
Chinese Heritage Festival (CHF)
Every year, the five SoCal CAs get together for a huge event called the Chinese Heritage Festival (CHF). CHF is a time for everyone to meet Chinese Association members from other schools. We play games and eat food together! Plus, there's always a little friendly competition between the schools for a trophy! So let's show them why CAUCI is the best of the best!
Sports Practices!
We have a volleyball game every Tuesday at 10:30pm at the ARC! Be sure to come out and support the CA Free Balls!
Currently, practices are set up during the week, so if you would like to know when they are being held, just contact Michael Wong through the contact us tab!

Want to see a new design to the website next quarter? Then make one! We're opening up a new contest for members to participate in! If you have an idea of how the website should look, make it come to life, and CA will use it next quarter if it's chosen! If you have a layout in mind, but don't know how to code it, that's fine too! Just email me at ca.webmaster@gmail.com or use the contact form in the contact us tab and I'd be happy to help you make your designs come to life! For more information, just read this document!
