Chinese Association at UC Irvine (CAUCI) is a club dedicated to promoting Chinese culture to students, staff, and community. while also hosting a social atmosphere for our club members. We also help the surrounding community with many community service events.
CAUCI was started in 1969 by a UCI Chinese basketball team. Currently, the club has over 500 members and two branches (CADC, & CAMA), which we call constituents. During the school year, CAUCI hosts many events to accomplish our goals. These events vary from general meetings/after events to community service to cultural events. Members are also grouped into families to encourage interaction and new friendships.
CAUCI is under the Asian Pacific Student Association (APSA) along with nine other organizations.
